Gross Area
Corresponds to the sum of the areas of the ceilings (or covered floors) at all storeys of the building (RGEU).
It corresponds to the total surface of the dwelling, measured by the outer perimeter of the exterior walls and axes of the walls separating the dwellings, and includes private balconies, accessory spaces and the corresponding share in the common circulations of the building (RGEU).
It corresponds to the total surface, measured by the outer perimeter and axes of the walls or other elements separating the building or fraction, including private balconies, basements and private attics with the same use as the building or fraction (CIMI).
Sum of the areas of all compartments in the dwelling, including vestibules, interior circulations, toilets, storage, other compartments with similar function and wall cabinets, and measured by the interior perimeter of the walls that limit fire (RGEU).
These are the covered areas for exclusive use, even if they constitute common parts, even if located outside the building or fraction, whose uses are incidental to the use for which the building or fraction is intended, considering, for this purpose, locations accessories: garages and parking lots, storage rooms, facilities for animals, accessible attics or basements, as long as they are not integrated in the private gross area, and also other private places with a different function from the previous ones (CIMI).
